About Us

Dr. Bobby Birdi is one of North America’s very few Certified Dual Specialists in Periodontics and Prosthodontics; and is also the first and only specialist in the world to attain Canadian and American board certifications in both Periodontics and Prosthodontics. He received his dental degree with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan and then pursued his postgraduate specialty training at the University of Minnesota in both periodontics and prosthodontics.

Dr. Birdi is a Fellow and former Examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Furthermore, he is the Past President of the Western Society of Periodontology (WSP) and the Vancouver District Dental Society (VDDS). Dr. Birdi has academic affiliations at the University of British Columbia and the University of Minnesota, where he is involved in teaching and research projects. He lectures both nationally and internationally on implant surgery, prosthetics, and digital dentistry. Dr. Birdi is the co-founder of the Digital Dentistry Institute, which is a global learning organization for his fellow dentists and one of the largest dental educational organizations in Canada.

Since 1980 Dr. David Bridger has been practicing as a Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics in Vancouver, BC.

He completed his dental degree at McGill University, and his Prosthodontic training at the University of Washington. He has extensive experience in implant restorations and restorative dentistry. Over the course of his career, he has been able to provide his patients with quality care that allows them to maintain function and a healthy smile throughout their lives.

Dr. Peter Munns is a Certified Specialist in Periodontics with over 30 years of experience. He received his dental degree from the University College Hospital in London, UK, and then completed his post-graduate specialty training in periodontics as well as his master’s degree from Boston University.

Dr. Munns shares his interest in periodontal, reconstructive, and dental implant procedures through a myriad of lectures and consulting work.

Dr. Ron Zokol is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry and of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He holds Fellowships in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American College of Dentists, and the Academy of Dentistry International. He has over 25 years of experience in implant and restorative dentistry. He founded the Pacific Institute for Advanced Dental Education, and a co-founder of the Digital Dentistry Institute alongside Dr. Birdi. Dr. Zokol has lectured locally and internationally for more than 40 years. He is currently the President Elect for the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics.

Dr. Nariman Amiri completed his dental degree at the University of British Columbia and his Prosthodontic training at the University of Iowa. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Since 2012 he has dedicated his career to Prosthodontics and Implant surgery. He provides comprehensive treatments to rebuild and maintain a function and aesthetic dentition using the latest concepts and technologies. He mentors a study club in the lower mainland and lectures regularly both nationally and internationally. Dr. Amiri is a published researcher and a board examiner for the National Dental Examining Board of Canada and Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

Dr. Ardenghi is a board-certified specialist in Prosthodontics by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He completed his prosthodontics program and a Master of Sciences degree in Craniofacial Sciences at the University of British Columbia. He is a full-time Associate Professor at UBC. In practice, his focus is using scientific evidence -based prosthodontics to develop treatment plans which are tailored to each patient.

Dr. Sarah Alabdullah is a Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics with over a decade of clinical experience in dentistry. As a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, she attained her master’s degree and specialization in Prosthodontic Dentistry at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Alabdullah specializes in diagnosing and treating complex rehabilitative dental needs. Her expertise covers fixed, removable, tooth and implant supported prostheses. She uses cutting-edge digital technology and pain management techniques to ensure minimal discomfort and a painless environment for her patients. Dr. Alabdullah is known for her excellent listening skills and believes in building strong patient relationships to deliver personalized and effective treatment plans.

Dr. Maher Dadoush is an American and Canadian Board Certified Periodontist and Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC Dentistry. With over 14 years of experience and advanced training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery from the University of British Columbia, Dr. Dadoush combines academic excellence with hands-on expertise in plastic periodontal surgery, single and full arch implant surgery, and advanced bone grafting surgeries. His commitment to innovation, including AI research in implant dentistry, ensures patients receive state-of-the-art care rooted in precision and compassion

Currently, Dr. Dadoush is enrolled in the Emerging Leader Program from the Foundation for Oral Rehabilitation FOR, aimed at developing the next generation of experts and international speakers in oral rehabilitation and he is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, the Canadian Academy of Periodontology, the British Columbia Society of Periodontists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and many more.

Angus became a dental technician in 1987 after completing the dental technology program at Vancouver Community College and worked for both his father’s dental laboratory as well as Turner Dental Lab on Vancouver Island before moving to Vancouver in 2002. Since 2002 Angus has concentrated on implant restorations and the growth of CAD/CAM technology in the dental laboratory. He as worked as implant department manager for Fine Arts Dental Lab, operations manager for UniNature Dental Enterprise and general manager for the Aurum Group lab in Vancouver. Angus has experience with Dental Wings, 3Shape, NobelProcera and other CAD software as well as 3M and Roland milling machines. He is currently Chair of the College of Dental Technicians of BC and a member of the PAC for Dental Technology program at VCC. When Angus is not at work he enjoys activities with his dogs and motorcycling.
